This one time at band camp...

so it's finallllly here! The end of my precious, relaxing summer! I started band camp yesterday. Yesterday was cake. from 8-11 I helped train the new fish on basic marching commands and stuff like that. We also played games, which was pretty amusing. ;D After that, not so much fun! from 1-4 I sorted music to be passed out today. It took FOREVERRRRR!!!!!

Today was even more tiring than yesterday by A LOT! We actually went outside today to start practicing. I've gotta say, I'm super proud of my fishies! They worked so hard, and are amazing for beginners. I'm such a good section leader ;) Oh yeah, so I'm section leader this year! I'm finally in charge! It really seems like just yesterday I was a fish myself.

well anyway, I'm off to start my AP bilogy homework. UGH! The bad thing about summer band is that it means school is almost here again.

My Twin

So lately I'v been hanging out a lot with my amazing friend, Andrea. We're practically twins now! We always either say things in unison, or think the same things. It's super weird but also cool. :)
Like I've said before, she's AMAZING! There's no way to be bored when she's around.
So this is all the fun stuff we've done:
1. went to see eclipse
2. ate at freebirds with rachel, saw eclipse AGAIN, and then had a movie night sleepover
3. worked at the derby together...not usually fun, but it is when it's both of us! and eric. :P
4. we went to go see the Sorcerer's Apprenitce with Eric and Kirk.
5. had a fun time at the crew party!!! haha it was sooooo much fun after everyone left to play pool. ;P

soooo yeaaah! We always have fun together. I can't wait to hang out again!

I hope you dance...

...because this post is all about dancing!

Alright. So I had a dance recital last saturday and I gotta say....it actually went prettttty well! That was a shocker! I mean, I thought not being able to find my ballet shoe ribbons the night before at 11pm was like a premonition. Thats the right word, right? hehe! Anyway, everything was going wrong the day of the recital. My hair was being pulled by all my dance teammates(?) and I was wearing the wrong type of bra AND I forgot my leotard for the dumb single ladies opener. AUGH! It was all so frustrating. I swear, you wouldn't understand unless you dance. If that weren't bad enough, we all messed up during our dress rehersal. We did each dance twice and both sucked more than a straw. LUCKILY, the actual recital went better. I guess I was just psyching myself out. I got dressed in time and everything! The biggest miracle of all is my ending for the Poker Face number. Especially since I learned it that very day!!! Take my advice, don't EVER EVER EVERRR do that EVER.........EVER. To end the whole thing, I got a trophy! Well, everyone does, but I got a bigger trophy. Hehehehe! I'm such a dedicated person...pffffft!

So I'm gonna take summer classes! WOOOOO! I'm taking ballet D apprentice and Pointe classes. I'm super excited. Well, kind of! I'm not excited about the pain or the teacher! Ms. Sheila is a B**** to thee max. She gets things done though, so thats good. Now, the pain. Pointe shoes are NO JOKE. I know I'll end up with a bloody toe. I just know it...It's totally unavoidable.

So even though I know I'll suffer, why am I excited? Well, that's because I love to dance. :) I've always wanted to be a ballerina! And I guess....I am? Anyway, since I have to take ballet D in ordre to take pointe classes, I won't be doing drill team. It's much more fun, I know, but ballet comes first and pointe shoes are on my things to get/do before I die. Lovely, I know.

I won't stop loving what I do, and you shouldn't either!

SUMMER!

OH MY GOD! IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!!!!!
I know I haven't posted in a while, but I've been super busy! First off I was super busy with my finals. Second, I was practicing intenisvely for my dance recital last saturday. But, it's SUMMER now and I'll definitely have more time to post. Wooooooo! So anyway. I'd like to take the time to post some things I'm happy about.

1. SUMMER (k duh!)
2. I don't EVER have to take french at MHS ever againnnnnn.
3. I'm gonna be a senior next year! (ok so I'm half happy, half sad about this one...but still. It counts!!!)
4. I have time to play sims 3
5. I'm gonna start using pointe shoes this summer! (stay tuned for my next dance post!)
6. chillin'
7. My dance recital went well
8. Observing animals at the zoo for biology

now, things I'm NOT happy about:

1. The stupid things happening in band this year. (more on this later)
2. ACT and SAT stuff
3. 78 semester average for peecal and 89....EIGHTYYYY NINEEE... for french. I HATE HER.
4. Only having a few months left with my soon to be not boyfriend. :(
5. Having to start thinking about college...and my future...
6. being stuck at home doing nothing because I basically have NO friends.
7. remembering a certain thing that happened a few weeks ago and not being able to stop from crying. aughhh sfjkgkdfnghjkdhgdf I have so many questions. :(
8. not only not having friends, but being stuck at home so long that I begin to get depressed.

okok so there's probably more, but I'm done for now. I'll be posting a dance post right after this to make up for lost time.

Poetry

So I haven't been able to post anything new today until now. I've been working on this poetry notebook that is due tomorrow. 14 poems of 6-8 questions each, plus I have to write my own poem at the end!!!! I'm on poem number 5 right now...this is so not looking too well! Next year, I'll most def not procrastinate like this...yeah right! Haha! Oh well! What's done is done, and I can't change it. Like other things right now...

Andrea Mackey

So there's this girl named Andrea Mackey. She's funny, nice, has a good personality, and is an AMAZING dancer! She can't play tennis to save her life, but she makes up for it nonetheless.

I love her so much!!!! I've had the worst day today. I didn't eat, felt sad, cried a bit. But that doesn't mean it was ALLLL sad. I smiled and laughed a little when I watched Mean Girls. LOVE THAT MOVIE! What made my day sososo much better was...well, her. Somehow, she called me, knew something was up...not that my status updates on fb were happy at all :P So we went to play tennis. And like I said before, she totally stinks XD but it's ok because it was probably much more fun than actually playing an intense game. She brought her ipod player and we listened to music while we played. Obviously, we danced and played. We even danced across all the tennis courts! WHAT A WORKOUT...I swear! I was so sweaty afterwards. But anyway, it was amazing. We took pictures, talked, danced, had fun! There is no way I can't smile around her. The pictured attached is of her and me. I think it's so prettttttyyy! It's my favorite picture now! AAAAAAHHHH! honestly, words can't express how lucky I feel to have her as a friend. If anyone else ever met her, they would know why I love her so much. Anyway, thank you Andrea, for making me smile and laugh today.
