So I know I just a while ago posted my first blog post, but I really can't sleep and I just absolutely HAVE to share this poem...although I only have two subscribers and I'm pretty sure no one else is reading this. :P So, I guess it's ok to write as many posts as I want, whenever I want...? Well anyway, I so relate to the following poem. Story of my life basically.
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
so dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
-Robert Frost
This man is amazing! I love this poem so much! It's short, but to the point. So much can be taken from this. Honestly, he's right. Basically, good things never last. Unless you're obviously really really lucky to have the most picture perfect, movie worthy life. Where no matter how awful things get, things will always turn out right in the end, because you're the protagonist, and no one wants to see a sad ending....that is of course, unless it's Jodi Picoult we're talking about!!! I believe you Robert Frost. Nothing gold can stay. If everything could stay as perfect as that one special moment. When you fell in love, when you got your first bike, when you made a best friend...for life, when you had your frist kiss...or maybe your second one. Just to name a few. God, I could go on forever!
Iswear, I'm not as emo as I'm sounding so far! I'm a happy person...was...am...will be. who knows. Tomorrow is another day, and tomorrow I will decode my emotions as best I can. Or maybe I 'll just pour them out. Whatever that means! XD I'm just rambling on now. Words are escaping from my fingertips, and my right pinky decides whether or not to keep them where they are!
much love that I wish I could feel right now,
